Collaboration: Provide CAD-related guidance to Engineers and Designers and participate in technical working groups as required.
Drafting & Design: Create and revise standard engineering/design CAD drawings across various disciplines (Civil/Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, P&C, Telecom, or Municipal) for Generation, Transmission, or Distribution projects.
Quality Control: Assess drawings against CADD and engineering standards; verify dimensions, elevations, slopes, and scales to flag errors or conflicting data for the Work Leader.
Data Integrity: Perform high-accuracy data entry for Cable Schedules and update Geographic Information System (GIS) data, including lot lines, easements, and physical geography.
Document Management: Maintain drawing lifecycles and file management using specialized systems. Assign drawing numbers, handle document control for the Underground Locate Centre (ULC), and publish drawings for stakeholders.
Technical Documentation: Produce graphs, maps, diagrams, and material lists. Convert drawings from external sources into -compatible formats.

Advanced CAD Proficiency: Expert skills in computer-aided design and drafting applications.
Diploma in Drafting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in using drawing management systems to ensure data security.
2 years of drafting experience.
GIS Knowledge: Experience updating Geographic Information Systems using maps, aerial photos, and satellite imagery.
Software Assets: Prior experience with McLaren Work Manager and ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud) is considered a significant asset.
Mathematical Aptitude: Ability to calculate dimensions, elevations, and slopes with high precision.
