In this role you will restore vacant units to market‑ready condition by performing minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks while maintaining safety, quality, and cleanliness standards throughout the property.
- Prepare vacant apartments for new resident move‑ins.
- Perform minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs (sinks, showers, appliances, cabinets, doors, fixtures).
- Replace bulbs, light fixtures, switches, outlets, and damaged hardware.
- Inspect and service locks, keys, and weather‑stripping; re‑key or repair as needed.
- Complete interior and exterior painting, caulking, and light drywall repairs (patching, texturing, sanding, finishing).
- Assist with grounds upkeep (trash pickup, breezeway blowing, pressure washing, common‑area cleaning).
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure timely unit turn completion.
- Uphold safety, quality, and cleanliness standards throughout the community.

The position requires regular physical activity such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lb independently (up to 100 lb with assistance), and duties are performed both indoors and in community common areas. Employees must follow the company’s uniform policy and reside within a 20‑mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.
- Prior apartment make‑ready experience.
- Basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and construction repair skills.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and personal hand tools.
- Ability to lift 40‑50 lb (up to 100 lb with assistance).
- Dependable work ethic, positive attitude, and residence within 20 mi of the property or willingness to relocate.
