Manages and maintains the company’s IP portfolio, including patents, trademarks, and trade secrets
Supports internal invention disclosure processes and participates in innovation reviews
Supports cross-functional legal initiatives and departmental process improvements
Assists with general corporate legal work, including due diligence and compliance matters
Drafts, files, and prosecutes U.S. and international patent applications in collaboration with outside counsel
Supports IP litigation, oppositions, and enforcement matters as needed
Reviews contracts, NDAs, and other legal documents for IP-related risks and compliance
Stays current on changes in IP law and educates internal teams on best practices
Advises on licensing, joint development agreements, and third-party IP matters
Coordinates with engineering, R&D, and marketing teams to identify and protect new intellectual property
Conducts patentability, freedom-to-operate, and infringement analyses to support product development and commercialization
