Document network support activities.
Analyze network data to determine network usage, disk space availability, or server function.
Perform routine maintenance or standard repairs to networking components or equipment.
Enter call resolutions using company software and applications.
Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer’s recommendations and explain fully to customer what the issue is and what is needed to correct.
Create and maintain cordial and collaborative working relationships with both superiors and co-workers.
Analyze and report computer network security breaches or attempted breaches.
Configure wide area network (WAN) or local area network (LAN) routers or related equipment.
Troubleshoot network or connectivity problems for users or user groups.
Configure and define parameters for installation or testing of local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), hubs, routers, switches, controllers, multiplexers, or related networking equipment.
Troubleshoot, repair and PM heating, air conditioning and refrigeration units, including but not limited to chillers, boilers, roof top units, split systems, and heat pumps.
Provide telephone support related to networking or connectivity issues.
Identify the causes of networking problems, using diagnostic testing software and equipment.
Configure security settings or access permissions for groups or individuals.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance as needed for the purpose of ensuring the ongoing functioning of HVAC systems.
Evaluate local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN) performance data to ensure sufficient availability or speed, to identify network problems, or for disaster recovery purposes.
Travel to job sites in service area and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer and dispatch.
Be available to work nights and weekends on a rotating basis to service the emergency needs of our customers.
Maintains required documentation, reporting and data on a timely basis.
Comply with all applicable standards, policies, or procedures, such as safety procedures or the maintenance of a clean work area and company vehicle.
Participate in company and/or vendor provided training opportunities.
Back up network data.
Install network software, including security or firewall software.
