Provide expert support and guidance to ScottishPower senior management and risk and assurance subject matter experts on enterprise risk management.
Prepare all required ScottishPower ERM risk reporting for the ScottishPower & Iberdrola management and committees, ensuring that it is complete, consistent, and accurate. This includes the ScottishPower Audit & Compliance Committee, ScottishPower Risk Committee and ScottishPower input to the Iberdrola Risk Reporting for the Iberdrola Audit & Risk Supervision Committee, the Iberdrola Group Risk Committee and Senior Iberdrola Directors.
Partner with those responsible for risk reporting in business units and corporate functions to ensure that risk reporting methodology is effectively and consistently implemented across ScottishPower.
Develop and maintain an independent view of the effectiveness and maturity of frameworks used by second line specialist functions.
Contribute to the development of the global Iberdrola Enterprise Risk Management framework, ensuring that any UK/Scottish Power required adaptations (e.g. for UK regulations, corporate governance requirements) are identified, designed and formalised.
Establish an effective risk-based Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework in ScottishPower to identify, measure, monitor, and control enterprise-wide risks.
Promote a culture of risk-based management in ScottishPower by coordinating risk management training and awareness across ScottishPower. (Includes: identifying people to be trained, tracking attendance, monitoring effectiveness etc)
Ensure that all material risks (Hot Topics and structural) are identified, assessed, and escalated or reported as required. Ensure that interrelated risks are aggregated and linked where appropriate.
Implement effective coordination mechanisms with second line specialist functions and business risk and assurance experts to ensure that a common methodology is used when assessing the effectiveness of risk management and control across ScottishPower.
