Ability to design a TxDOT project from beginning to end without a lot of supervisor input.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Registered Professional Engineer, Texas preferred, must be able to obtain Texas PE within 6 months of employment.
5-10 years of relevant Roadway experience (TxDOT preferred).
Strong working knowledge of MicroStation (Geopak, OpenRoads, OpenRoads Designer).
Practical working knowledge of the TxDOT Roadway Design Manual and the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (TMUTCD) as well as other TxDOT Design manuals and processes.
3D Design experience.
Previous roadway design experience in consulting engineering with a primary focus on TxDOT (or other DOT) of Municipal transportation projects.
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program
