Preparation of Community Air Monitoring Plans and Health and Safety Plans.
Implement site investigation/characterization and remedial action work plans, including but not limited to collection of soil, groundwater, soil vapor, indoor air, and surface water samples; logging of soil characteristics utilizing a standardized soil classification system; implementation of community air monitoring plans; and preparation of daily field activity reports.
Prepare and review project specifications and engineering drawings.
Coordinate and provide oversight and direction to subcontractors including remedial contractors, drillers, geophysical surveyors, and analytical laboratories.
Preparation of associated reports, including report text, supporting field documentation (e.g., photograph, soil boring, test pit, monitoring well construction, and well development logs) and other appendices, and review and tabulation of laboratory analytical reports.

40-hr HAZWOPER and 10-hr Construction certification would be a plus.

Accurate and timely completion of expense reports.
Ability to work on long-term field assignments in the New York City area.
Demonstrates excellence and efficiency in writing, communication, data analysis, professional judgment, and knowledge of scientific principles.
2 to 5 years of environmental consulting experience with primary focus on environmental engineering, environmental due diligence, field investigations, and sampling.
S. or B.A. in environmental science, geology, engineering, or a related field.
Strong quality assurance/quality control skills and detail-oriented to perform technical, style, and consistency reviews.
Strong sense of responsibility and work ethic, with a desire for career growth.
Valid Driver’s License.
