- Ability to effectively organize and staff a project team in a matrix organization
- 15 - 20 years of experience in the mining industry, five of which in a Project managerial capacity, specialization in studies
- Knowledge and understanding of working arrangements with joint ventures, alliances and consortiums and with different commercial models; Integrated Project Team (IPT), Lumpsum and cost-reimbursable
- Pror experience with managing various stages of studies- Conceptual, Pre feasibility and Feasibility
- Knowledge of building effective business cases and experience with trade off studies in support of the customers’ needs
- Knowledge and understanding of mining lifecycles including various project phases and financial structuring of projects
- Self-starter and strong communicator
- Bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 15+ years of relevant experience or 19+ years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of industry, technology and EPC work processes
- Engineering Degree
