Attend client pre-bid meetings and jobsite visits, documenting all relevant verbal and written information communicated during the pre-bid and RFQ process.
Develop project cost estimates using client RFQ documents, drawings, and all information gathered throughout the bidding and award stages.
Plan Takeoffs Utilizing Onscreen Programs (Planswift, OST, Bluebeam, Etc…)
Collaborate with BPC teams throughout the project lifecycle by assisting with change orders, takeoffs, constructability reviews, and cost forecasting.
Apply approved costing methodologies, data, and systems to produce detailed estimate breakdowns for use by project managers and project teams.
Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for wet pipeline projects, ensuring all required components—management services, equipment, materials, construction, operations, and related costs—are accurately captured.
Maintain strong communication with internal departments, project managers, and clients regarding all estimating activities.
Provide interim departmental oversight when required.
Support the growth and development of Estimators and support staff through training, guidance, and mentorship.
Clearly explain the basis of each estimate, including labor hour assumptions, resource requirements, and task-level cost drivers.

10+ years of experience in project cost estimating/project management with an emphasis in wet pipeline industry projects.

Ability to assess constructability, site conditions, and project risks
Strong relationship-building skills with clients, subs, and vendors
Ability to present estimate assumptions and results to leadership, clients, and project teams
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering, preferred.
High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to interpret complex plans, specifications, and contract documents
