Tracking changes to the design intent as the project progresses, ensuring that the modelling groups are aware of these changes and that model updates are performed.
Site liaison and lead for all project VDC content.
Plays a key role in assisting in the implementation and evolution of the VDC department processes.
Responsible for managing, updating, and reviewing the status of the project coordination (Navisworks) model on a weekly basis.
Managing and policing the document storage and communications streams (ACC, BIM360, Eqnyte, Procore, etc.).
Ensuring that content from all VDC platforms and collaborators are put into the coordination (Navisworks) project file.
Assist in dissolving barriers of VDC adoption in a politically effective manner on an ongoing basis.

Knowledge of construction costs/budgets/schedule and construction process.
Relevant dimensional accuracy has been met so that site installers’ productivity is maximized.
Experience in reading and interpreting construction drawings and documents.
Strong written & communication skills.
Experience in field installation/trade/code adherence will be highly valued.
Post-Secondary degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Drafting or relevant technical diploma, journeyman status, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Detail oriented and ability to work within tight timelines, and ensure team stays ahead of critical path with excellent time and project management skills.
Correct records are being kept of approved shop drawings, and that their associated model production is performed as per project requirements with QA/QC measures.
Ideally the candidate is proficient in Navisworks, Revit with Fabrication Parts.
Strong computer skills with hands-on working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and digital scheduling software.
