Supervises Team Members as well as access and equipment vendors.
Bridge analyses and load rating calculations including 3D FEM modeling as needed.
Performs field inspections according to requirements of RIDOT Bridge Inspection Manual and the FHWA National Bridge Inspection Standards.
Bridge rehabilitation plans and document development as needed.
Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others.
Prepares inspection reports.
Work in confined spaces, work adjacent to live traffic, work in or around water and work under adverse weather conditions.
Work at heights, on ladders, on scaffolding and on aerial lifts, or other bridge inspection access equipment.

Previous Amtrak Contractor Training
Bridge Load Rating experience
ANSI 92.24/92.22 Mobile Elevated Work Platforms/Snooper Training
Experience with AutoCAD, CsiBridge, LEAP Concrete/Bridge, MathCAD, AASHTOware BrM/BrR and MDX is a plus.
Valid US Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or similar discipline plus four years of experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
NHI Course No. 130053 Bridge Inspection (Refresher when required)
Previous Fall Protection and Confined Space Training
Work overnight as required, including work within railroad right-of-way.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Long span bridge inspection experience
