The Controller is responsible for overseeing the entire accounting function at Enscicon, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with its financial reporting and internal controls.
Provides information to corporate CPA to prepare Enscicon annual financial review
Manage day-to-day accounting activities: general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, billing, treasury, fixed assets, revenue recognition, etc.
Collaborates with CEO, President, the Executive Management Team to develop annual budget plans that support the organizational and operational growth of Enscicon
Works with broker to analyze and secure workers compensation, general liability, umbrella insurance, and health insurance coverage
Complies with multiple State employer taxes payment
Manages accounting staff of 3+ employees
Oversees employee set up: computers, telephone, user accounts, etc.
Hire, develop, and lead the accounting team
Reviews budget versus actual analysis for weekly and monthly evaluation
Identifies and manages outsourced applications development
Oversees corporate accounting, payroll, and all day-to-day high-volume transactions
Reviews company strategic and individual dashboards on a quarterly basis
Manages the organizations operations, assets, expenses, and infrastructure
Ensures adequate facilities, Telecom, IT ( Networks, Desktop support, and applications)
Manages company tax and regulatory compliance
Maintains the primary relationships with Bank, CPA, IT, and Insurance Broker
Lead the month-end and year-end close processes.
Coordinates tax return preparation with CPA firm
Delivers strategic vision and management of business operations to achieve corporate initiatives
Conducts monthly closing entries and accruals
Coordinates partners tax planning at year end
Prepares and analyzes financial reports and presents findings and recommendations to CEO, President, and Executive Management Team to aid in decision making for growth strategies, pricing actions, and business development activities
Manages personnel and operations in support of achieving annual plan financials and operational targets
Manages the new and existing software systems and applications including Great Plains, SSRS Report Manager, and Bullhorn
Oversees and drives corporate P&L
Manages and reports bank covenant and borrowing base to Bank
Prepares and manages financials for the Property Holding company 2825 N Speer LLC
