Procurement tasks include preparing PQ documentation, maintaining tender schedules, managing tender events, issuing documentation, evaluating tenders and drafting tender reports. Experience with standard forms of contract such as FIDIC and CPWD and assisting in compiling final contract documents is also required.
The position requires preparing interim payment recommendations, maintaining cost control documentation and managing change control processes. It also involves contributing to cost reporting, cashflow forecasting, valuation of variations, tracking risk allowances and preparing final accounts.
Minimum 8-10 years experience required. The role involves preparing cost plans at various design stages, analyzing unit rates, pricing BOQ items, supporting value engineering, collecting market quotations, and assisting in tender estimates and cost plan reporting.
A working knowledge of construction technologies and methods must be applied in cost planning tasks, assessing cost implications of materials, labour and construction methods during design and execution stages. This ensures accurate cost estimation throughout the project lifecycle.
Proficiency in CAD, Cost‑X and other quantification/estimation software is required, along with strong MS Excel and Word skills. The candidate should be able to learn and adapt to customized software tools.
