In this role you will conduct routine inspections, testing, servicing, and preventative maintenance of electrical, sprinkler, and other life‑safety product lines, accurately document any deficiencies, and follow a structured inspection schedule.
You will also perform minor repairs, make programming adjustments, assist foremen with the installation of wet, dry, pre‑action, and deluge sprinkler systems, and work in challenging positions such as ladders, scaffolding, or high‑lift equipment.
- Perform routine inspections, testing, servicing, and preventative maintenance on electrical, sprinkler, and life‑safety product lines
- Accurately record and document deficiencies identified during inspections
- Complete service acknowledgements and inspection reports using laptops, smartphones, or hard copies with proper coding
- Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule
- Make minor repairs and programming changes to inspected systems
- Carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lb and perform physical labor
- Assist foremen in installing wet, dry, pre‑action, and deluge sprinkler systems
- Work in unusual and difficult positions, including climbing ladders, scaffolding, high‑lift equipment, ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings

The ideal candidate brings at least three years of documented sprinkler‑system experience, the ability to obtain required licenses, and strong skills in reading blueprints, using hand tools and multimeters, and performing physical labor while maintaining high safety and customer‑service standards.
- Minimum 3 years documented experience with sprinkler systems
- Ability to obtain and retain required licenses per national, state, and local codes
- Experience with wet, dry, pre‑action, deluge, fire pumps, and foam systems
- Proficiency reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, specifications, schematics, and manuals
- Skilled with hand tools and multimeter usage
- Physical ability to lift and move equipment up to 50‑70 lb and work at heights up to 40 ft
- Flexibility to work on‑call rotations, nights, and weekends as needed
- Strong customer‑service orientation and adherence to safety guidelines
- Excellent organizational skills, positive attitude, and quick learning ability
