  • Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice approvals, coding, and payment disbursements.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow by ensuring payment schedules are aligned with company financial policies.
  • Lead and oversee the accounts payable team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to prevent errors, fraud, and ensure proper approval processes are followed.
  • Oversee and manage vendor relationships, including contract review and resolution of any payment discrepancies or disputes.
  • Prepare accounts payable reports and analysis for management, providing insight into expenses and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including reconciliations of accounts payable and accrual accounts.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain AP policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and accounting regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to address payment inquiries and resolve escalated issues.

  • Ability to implement and monitor internal controls and compliance procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to assess financial data and optimize AP processes.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with vendors and cross-functional teams.
