- Work with both domestic and international suppliers, gaining global exposure.
- Oversee logistics, heavy-lift transportation, and customs clearance for large mechanical equipment.
- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, legal requirements, and contractual commitments.
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers for boilers, turbines, pressure parts, piping systems, rotating equipment, balance-of-plant mechanical packages, and support E&I procurement as needed.
- Securing the supply chain and necessary minerals
- Enforce transparent and ethical procurement practices.
- Optimize cost through competitive bidding, supplier development, and alternate sourcing.
- Manage supply chain risk and ensure business continuity.
- Strengthening electrical grids
- Manage both domestic and international sourcing, including heavy engineering equipment and fabrication packages.
- Negotiate techno-commercial terms, long-term supply agreements, and service contracts.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated experience in large-capex procurement (>?100 Cr project scale).
- Familiarity with electrical and instrumentation procurement packages (MCCs, VFDs, control systems, field instruments) to support project integration.
- 1518 years of procurement experience in EPC power plant projects (biomass, WHR, coal, biogas).
- MBA or PG Diploma in Supply Chain / Materials Management (preferred).
- Strong negotiation, vendor development, and cost-control abilities.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical procurement in EPC power plant projects (biomass, WHR, biogas, coal).
- Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical preferred; Electrical/Instrumentation exposure desirable).
- Proven track record in international procurement, incoterms, import/export procedures, and logistics.
- ERP proficiency (SAP/Oracle or equivalent) with strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Expertise in turbine generators, boilers, pressure vessels, piping systems, heat exchangers, cooling towers, pumps, compressors, balance-of-plant items.
