Interpret blueprints and accurately lay out plumbing systems for underground rough-in and top-out phases.
Test systems by filling with water or air and observing pressure gauges to detect leaks.
Install DWV (drain, waste, and vent), domestic hot and cold-water piping, and acid waste systems in new construction and remodels.
Cut or modify structures to accommodate piping using hand and power tools.
Install underground storm, sanitary, and water piping systems and extend piping connections as required.
Install, assemble, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, and drainage systems.
Install natural gas and medical gas systems (vacuum, O₂, medical air, and nitrogen) in commercial and healthcare environments.
Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing codes and regulations.
Set and install plumbing fixtures with precision.
Perform soldering, brazing, threading, and Pro Press techniques on various piping materials.
