Join Linetec's Fleet Operations team as a Telematics Operations Specialist to lead the managing and optimization of our telematics program (Samsara). In this role, you will ensure accurate fleet data, support safety and compliance and collaborate across departments to keep operations running seamlessly.

Connecting People to Possibility

  • Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
  • Support IFTA (International Fuel Tax Agreement) reporting through system tools and asset tagging
  • Manage user accounts, device activations, and hardware inventory Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with telematics support
  • Review and verify billing, invoices, and generate operational/compliance reports
  • Serve as the primary contact for all aspects of our telematics platform (Samsara)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve fleet performance
  • Review dash camera events, assign coaches, and support safety investigations
  • Provide documentation to Safety, Legal, and other teams as needed

  • 1+ years of experience administrating a telematics program (Samsara, Geotab, Verizon Connect, etc.)
  • Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
  • This position is open to remote work.
  • Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools
  • Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
  • Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
