The Senior Export Control Manager is part of a global team of export‑control professionals responsible for defining and implementing plans and priorities, including risk identification and mitigation. The role provides specialist knowledge, guidance and advice to the business, head office, GBS and Innovation Hub on both strategic and tactical export‑control issues, and actively supports the development and implementation of export‑control policies to ensure Group‑wide compliance. It also solves complex export‑control problems and influences process improvements across the area.
Key responsibilities include leading a team of Export Control Managers, further developing in‑depth export‑control expertise and driving business and technical process improvements. You will define and implement plans and priorities, identify opportunities to enhance the internal compliance programme, and liaise with other export‑control personnel to understand regulatory impacts. Additionally, you will develop and deliver training and communications, and lead or participate in integrated project teams across functions and locations to address export‑control issues.
The position requires specialist expert knowledge of relevant export regulations, the ability to analyse complex business situations and advise on regulatory impact, and the capability to develop and implement strategic and tactical export‑control compliance processes.
