The position involves shipping and receiving duties, loading and unloading trucks, tracking merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders. Associates read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to move, gather, or distribute, and sort items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, or product code. They also ensure the warehouse remains accessible, safe, and orderly, marking materials, recording receipts or distributions, and assisting with inventory management.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess a strong work ethic, exceptional customer‑service skills, and a ‘can‑do’ attitude. Required qualifications include at least one year of recent warehouse experience, the ability to lift up to 70 lb, and a valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable record. Forklift operation, RF‑scanner experience, and prior work in wholesale distribution, HVAC warehousing, or shipping and receiving are considered strong advantages.
