In this role you will conduct agency and performance tests on nVent parts, collaborate with requesters to refine test plans, and produce clear, concise written reports with sound conclusions. You will set up and operate lab equipment, design and build test fixtures, and assist in maintaining calibration while supporting new product development activities such as DFMEA and design reviews.
The ideal candidate has a two‑year advanced technical school background in electrical, electronic, HVAC, or a related field and at least two years of experience in an engineering test lab. Required skills include reading engineering drawings, using standard measurement tools, writing technical reports, and proficiency with data‑analysis software, while adhering to safety protocols and being able to lift 50 lb.
Compensation ranges from $23.90 to $44.40 per hour, based on location, experience, and performance, with eligibility for additional incentives.
