Identify opportunities for process improvements in procurement and supply chain management.
Maintain detailed records of purchases and supplier performance.
Analyze inventory data to forecast future purchasing needs.
Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and return defective items.
Monitor spending against budget and report variances to management.
Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality or delivery.
Prepare reports on inventory status, usage trends, and cost analysis.
Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
Negotiate prices, terms, and contract with supplier to ensure cost-effective procurement.
Conduct cost analyses to identify areas for potential savings.
Participate in cross-functional teams to implement best practices and improve efficiency.
Source and procure assigned commodities.
Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company standards.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.

Ability to review and understand engineering standards and drawings
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP.
T ravel up to 10%.
Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university; and as a minimum three (3) years of procurement experience in the power generation industry; or, eight(8) years of procurement experience; or, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities has been achieved. MBA/ ISM/ APCIS Members/ CSCM or CPIM, preferred.
