Multi Skilled Operative

Description

• Assist the Supervisor in meeting daily/weekly production targets.
• Work with team members to ensure customers receive quality material and on-time deliveries.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards around the site.
• Ensure plant conforms with safety requirements at all times.
• Inspect plant, act on defects, and implement remedial actions.
• Carry out health, safety, environmental, and quality responsibilities.
• Follow SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) policies and procedures.
• Maximise plant availability through proactive maintenance.
• Operate mobile plant on site.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Multi Skilled Operative in a plant/quarry environment (training provided if required).
• Demonstrates reliability and adaptability.
• Shovel licence (highly desirable).
• IT literacy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience in mobile plant operations.
• Good timekeeping and flexibility to meet site requirements.
• Knowledge of plant operations.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication skills to raise issues with line management.
