Provide mentorship and support to junior team members on the Engineering Team for a Senior-level Project Engineer.

Ability to review scope of work documents and analyze the design implications of different requirements.
Knowledge of Autodesk Fusion or other 3D Design software is a plus.
Good communication and presentation skills, including the ability to organize and present complex technical information effectively in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Highly organized and able to multitask multiple projects at once.
Be familiar with utility-scale solar project designs, including single-line drawings, mechanical, civil, structural, and electrical site plans, and equipment layout.
Own portions of the project lifecycle — from design to construction support.
Understand the construction applications of solar power plant design, racking/tracker design, and powering.
Knowledge of racking, materials, and methods of construction in power systems.
Familiarity with CAD workflows and construction standards.
Proven ability to work across multiple systems and manage design documentation.
Knowledge of QGIS or other GIS software is a plus.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical field, or related discipline is required – civil or mechanical engineering degree preferred.
Have direct and relevant experience with the latest solar and battery storage equipment, including solar panels, inverters/transformers, racking systems, and battery systems.
Comfortable traveling cross-country to perform site visits and provide technical support to construction teams.
Knowledge of foundation design is a plus.
0-1+ years' experience for a Project Engineer and 2+ years’ experience for Senior Project Engineer in the solar construction industry or direct engineering management on solar construction projects - solar experience is required.
Geotechnical knowledge is a plus.
Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
