Certifying Plumber & Gasfitter

Description

• Performing routine inspections, fault finding, repairs, and commissioning of plumbing, gas, and combustion plant (boilers and gas heaters).
• Completing all works to a high standard, on time, and ensuring systems are fully operational.
• Assisting with site assessments and identifying opportunities for additional work.
• Liaising with clients to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.
• Maximising efficiency through effective route planning, time management, and stock control.
• Installing, servicing, and maintaining plumbing and gasfitting equipment in line with EQUANS procedures, NZ Standards, and the NZ Building Code.
• Preparing accurate quotations or estimates for installation and maintenance work.
• Maintaining accurate log books and documentation for all work performed.
• Providing clear instruction and handover of equipment to clients

Requirements

• Strong technical knowledge of plumbing and gas systems, with an interest in combustion plant.
• Full NZ driver’s licence.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Modern Tool of Trade Vehicle
• A current NZ Registered Certifying Plumber and/or Gasfitter Licence
