The position involves performing inspections and testing, responding to scheduled and emergency service requests, troubleshooting and repairing system equipment, and programming fire alarm and other low‑voltage systems. Employees must resolve problems through research, communicate effectively with contractors, building owners, and management, read and interpret technical documents, assist customers on site, and complete all required paperwork while maintaining necessary licenses and certifications.
We are seeking skilled Fire Alarm Service Technicians and Inspectors to join our team. In this role you will need to be familiar with inspecting, testing, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing fire alarm systems.
Candidates must hold a valid Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL) and an active FAL certification, possess a clean driver’s license and driving record, and meet background requirements. They should be proficient with industry equipment and MS Office, demonstrate excellent communication skills, maintain reliable attendance, and have at least three years of experience in the fire alarm/low‑voltage industry.
Physical demands include working at heights up to 60 feet on ladders, scaffolding, or high‑lift equipment, navigating ducts, crawl spaces, and ceilings, and performing labor such as carrying tools and lifting up to 75 lb.
