Undertaking contract compliance audits.
Supporting programme development in the production of early budgetary estimates.
Acting as contract specific quantity surveying functional expert in all aspects of price validation and agreement, including dispute resolution.
Supporting the commercial function in the evaluation of, and negotiation of tenders, contract changes and compensation events.
Providing senior management with appropriate reports to support decision making.
Undertaking reviews of contract adherence across programme delivery.
Providing functional quantity surveying expertise and support to the wider programme delivery businesses.
Providing support for development of preliminary, initial and main gate business case submissions.
Developing effective business relationships with portfolio team members in supporting the attainment of team objectives.
Developing effective business relationships with stakeholders in ensuring adoption of functional.

Ability to manage and monitor progress of any given plan, taking responsibility for activities and workstreams on your own initiative.
Ability to provide clerical and technical support.
NEC4 experienced and accredited.
A valid security clearance or have no potential bars to you gaining clearance.
Experience of managing junior members of the team.
Quantity surveying best practice in the delivery of portfolios.
Experience in a technical role managing others including working with client and their contractors.
Professionally qualified professional with considerable experience (with at least 5 years post professional qualification experience).
Having some MEP experience is desirable, but not essential.
Relevant experience working within large public sector organisations - Defence and/ or Security experience is highly desirable.
Evidence of independent work towards project deliverables, adhering to all relevant procedures, orders and instructions.
Member with a relevant professional body i.e., CIOB, APM, RICS.
Familiar with the Microsoft Project application.
Construction experience through all RIBA stages in delivering projects, making their own decision and advising other members of the team.
