Tasks

-Ensure efficient and timely processing of various job orders by organizing work to be performed according to complexity, materials used, anticipated completion time, etc. -Ensure parts are fabricated correctly by performing the first piece check and submitting it to quality assurance for inspection prior to running the entire job. -Produce parts which meet customer specifications, setting up the machine, deciding which brake dyes to use, reading, and interpreting blueprints and bending deducts. -Ensures safe and efficient brake operation by performing daily maintenance and minor repairs on machine, observing safety standards, and by notifying supervisor when major repairs and needed. -Ensure correct materials are used on each job by verifying materials prior to beginning production.
