Ensure efficient and timely processing of various job orders by organizing work to be performed according to complexity, materials used, anticipated completion time, etc.
Ensure parts are fabricated correctly by performing the first piece check and submitting it to quality assurance for inspection prior to running the entire job.
Produce parts which meet customer specifications, setting up the machine, deciding which brake dyes to use, reading, and interpreting blueprints and bending deducts.
Ensures safe and efficient brake operation by performing daily maintenance and minor repairs on machine, observing safety standards, and by notifying supervisor when major repairs and needed.
Ensure correct materials are used on each job by verifying materials prior to beginning production.
