Packaging Engineer

• Escalate all identified project related risks or issues to the Project Manager.
• Identify and inform Brand leads and Procurement of any risks and or delays during development.
• Provide Auditing Support:
• Ensure that packages/components meet the needs of the Brand, Regulatory and Environmental Legislation, and consumer safety (for example, artwork copy changes).
• Collaborate with the Project Manger & Packaging Coordinators to ensure that all project data/systems/trackers are current and project documents are up to date.
• Develop package specifications and validate those technical drawings clearly identify all aspects required to define the package.
• To ensure packaging being created adheres with Regulatory requirements.
• Work with Brand leads to generate/execute bill of materials efficiently and process artwork correctly.
• Ensure filling/assembly instructions and torque information are provided for all components.
• Comply with the established Regulatory and Business Continuity project processes (e.g., change control documentation/Regulated Drug Products) and standard templates.
• Implement package test plans if needed.
• Connect brand leads to ensure packaging aspects meet the quality, cost, functionality, and manufacturing requirements

• Extensive experience working with teams across Artwork, Suppliers, and Procurement.
