  • Work with industry leading experts to execute design, analysis, modeling, simulation and testing/validation of innovative power electronics circuits and systems
  • Collaborate with Engineers and Scientists from across the GE Vernova Advanced Research Center and GE Vernova business segments.

  • Familiar with DC/DC converter topologies
  • Hands-on and experienced with prototype design and testing
  • Effective presentation and technical communication skills; ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms.
  • Ph.D. degree program in Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines at an ABET accredited university.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • Minimum GPA 3.0 / 4.0 scale.
  • Excitement and enthusiasm for growing technical skills in any one or more technical areas listed above.
  • Familiar with wide-band gap devices
  • Experience with modeling and simulation tools and/or laboratory equipment (preferably in medium/high voltage labs) used in relevant fields.
  • Strong background in any of those above domains, especially on high/medium voltage power electronics
