Mitigation Technician

Description

• Will provide phone, computer, van, equipment and tools as needed
• Maintain timely and effective communication and flow of information with Technicians, Supervisors or Managers
• Complete appropriate documentation for each loss
• Determine the sequence of steps to be taken when delivering the company's services
• Visit new assignments/jobs, interface with customer
• Maintain inventory of related supplies
• Effectively perform all water damage mitigation services the company offers
• Evaluate the integrity of affected materials and contents
• Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicle

Requirements

Dwyer Restoration, a rapidly growing disaster restoration company, is seeking an experienced and driven Water Mitigation Technician to help build and expand our Water Mitigation division. We are looking for more than just technical skill—we want a dedicated professional who is eager to learn, grow, and take pride in their work, not someone content with the status quo.

• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Converse, TX 78109: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
• Water damage restoration: 3 years (Required)
• IICRC Certification (Required)
• Ability to pass a driving, background check and drug screening
• Ability to work with time constraints to meet specific deadlines
• Ability to apply techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units
• Ability to perform physical functions required for mitigation setup and demolition
• Ability to scope, document, contract, execute, and collect water/fire/smoke mitigation
• Will provide a labor tech as needed
• Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response Training (Preferred)
• IICRC certified WTR-ASD
• No less than 3 years experience in water mitigation

Salary: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour - Depending on Experience
