The Accounting Coordinator provides administrative and accounting support to the Accounting Department, handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, job cost data entry, and the maintenance of financial records. The role ensures accurate tracking of project‑related financial transactions and compliance with company policies, while managing confidential information with professionalism. Collaboration with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments supports timely and accurate construction accounting operations. This is a full‑time, on‑site position with standard business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, possess a high school diploma or GED (an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred), and have 1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience. Construction or job‑cost accounting experience, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office, and familiarity with Sage or Timberline are valued. Strong multitasking, prioritization, attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills are required, along with reliability and dependability.
