  • You will support the mentoring and development of junior mechanical integrity department members
  • You will take part in, or lead, detailed technical audits of models, stress analyses and lifing reports
  • Vous prendrez part a la rédaction, revue et audit de modèles numériques, analyses de contraintes et rapports de calcul.
  • Vous étudierez les analyses et résultats antérieurs pour guider l’équipe sur les approches possibles d’évaluation de durée de vie des pièces.
  • Vous travaillerez avec les spécialistes techniques de Conception et Fabrication afin d’apporter du support sur les activités de maintenance des turbines et fabrication des pièces.
  • Vous conseillerez les Responsables de Produits concernant le niveau de risque des moteurs en service.
  • You will work with technical specialists in the design and manufacturing fields to support component manufacture and engine life management
  • You will work individually or as part of a team and will be involved in various aspects of stress, lifing and integrity analysis on a system and sub-system level
  • You will advise product management in understanding technical risk levels associated with in-service issues
  • In response to field failures, you will take part in root cause analysis for components in which you’ve developed a specialization

  • You have the legal right to work in Canada or work for a company which supports an internal transfer to take this position
  • You should be able to demonstrate good oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to write accurate, detailed and concise technical reports
  • Autant que possible, vous essayerez de privilégier des solutions basées sur les connaissances antérieures disponibles.
  • You have experience with FE analysis software, preferably using the codes Abaqus and/or SC03
  • You are interested in gas turbine technology and how it can be developed to remain a relevant technology through the energy transition

  • You should have prior experience in industry, ideally in some or all of the following analytical skills: fatigue, damage tolerance, integrity assessments
  • Suite aux incidents en service, vous participerez aux analyses de causes profondes et ferez part de vos recommandations techniques dans votre domaine de spécialisation.
  • Vous possédez un baccalauréat ou une maîtrise en génie mécanique et vous êtes membre de l’Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec.

  • Ce poste se déroule dans un environnement francophone, mais nécessite la maîtrise de l’anglais pour comprendre la documentation et les termes techniques provenant de sources internationales, et pour communiquer avec des clients, des fournisseurs ou des collègues internationaux.
