You’ll be the go-to expert for all things compliance — from maintaining our ISO 9001 and National Highways Sector Scheme standards to managing audits, liaising with stakeholders, and continuously improving how we work.
This is a new role, giving you the opportunity to establish processes, procedures, and systems from the ground up. You’ll shape how we manage compliance across our projects, ensuring everything we deliver is safe, efficient, and meets the highest regulatory and contractual standards.
- Lead Compliance Management: Take ownership of all compliance across the National Highways framework, keeping key registers up to date, ensuring adherence to ISO standards, NHSS, DMRB, and CDM Regulations, and working closely with National Highways and regulatory bodies to maintain strong governance.
- Monitor, Report & Communicate: Track progress of audits and compliance KPIs, manage updates via online portals like CEMAR, and produce clear, insightful reports and presentations to highlight risks, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee & Collaborate: Provide expert oversight of internal and third-party audits, review outputs for quality and consistency, and work closely with other assurance teams to coordinate activity and maximise impact.
- Shape Audit Planning: Develop and deliver a risk-based internal and external audit programme, aligning with Enerveo’s Operational Excellence framework and responding proactively to emerging issues.
- Drive Audit Execution: Lead audits and in-process checks, collaborate with operational teams, identify opportunities for improvement, produce high-quality reports with corrective actions, and carry out special investigations as needed.
