Carry out defined Planned Preventative Maintenance responsibilities in accordance with each School’s schedule such as, Twice weekly flushing of outlets, weekly Sprinkler Alarm test, Weekly Fire Alarm Test, Monthy Fire Door and Fire Extinguisher Checks etc
Being proactive by noticing any deficiencies in the facilitiesa and either ectifying if withing capabilities, or bringing the defect to the attention of the Site Manager or Senior Caretaker
Respond to emergency situations such as floods, floor spillages, body fluid clean up and arranging temporary or permanent rectifciation in accordance with prescribed procedures and timescaled.
Carry out minor repairs and decoration works
Carry out day to day Caretaking duties according to the daily schedule such as attending to any repairs logged on the Help Desk or reported by Site Manager.
Carrying out daily litter pick of School grounds, changing external bins, sweeping external areas, checking toilets etc
