Description

The role involves operating metal fabrication equipment such as shears, brakes, rollers, and cutting machines to produce roofing components per specifications. You will read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and measurements, inspect finished products for quality, maintain and troubleshoot machinery, follow safety protocols, assist with inventory management, and collaborate with teammates to keep the work area clean and safe.

Requirements

Ideal candidates have prior experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or the building supply sector, and can safely and efficiently operate fabrication machinery. Strong mechanical skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to work with measurements and tolerances are essential, as is the physical capability to lift heavy materials. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with technical training in metalwork or fabrication considered a plus.
