Senior Health Safety Environment Advisor

• Participate in accident and incident investigations and produce reports.
• Contribute to contractor pre-qualification and due diligence processes.
• Review safe systems of work for compliance and suitability.
• Promote robust risk management practices across all activities.
• Provide health and safety expertise across all project lifecycle phases.
• Implement and maintain safety management systems.
• Monitor and report on health and safety performance data.
• Deliver effective health and safety communication plans.
• Develop and review risk assessments and method statements.
• Support audits, inspections, and compliance with relevant legislation.
• Lead or contribute to health and safety meetings and committees.
• Assist in creating project-specific health and safety plans and targets.
• Provide advice and guidance to project teams on all health and safety matters.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Senior Health and Safety Advisor to provide expert guidance and support across all phases of major projects, including development, construction, and operations & maintenance. This role is pivotal in driving excellence and continuous improvement in health and safety performance.

• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
• Skilled in accident investigation techniques, including root cause analysis.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a health and safety role, ideally with exposure to full project lifecycle.
• Relevant qualification in Health and Safety.
• Familiarity with health and safety management systems, permit-to-work systems, marine practices, and risk management.
• Strong knowledge of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
