- Orchestrate work sharing including coordination of staff availability, workload, and priorities.
- Participate in business class practice and professional discipline groups, project teams and activities to continually improve standards and best practices, and implement effective quality assurance and quality control reviews
- Work cooperatively with Area Operations, Business Group Managers, Market Sector Leads, and Business Development teams in local and regional marketing efforts. Involved in marketing planning, proposals, and interviews. Collaborate on development and implementation of a strategy to broaden HDRs rail and transit market presence and delivery in Utah
- Oversee the delivery of project services and deliverables to meet client expectations. Lead and/or participate in project teams as project manager, transit/rail QA/QC, transit/rail advisor, and/or transit/rail lead.
- Oversee Transit/Rail staff assigned to the Utah area.
- Take responsibility for area coordination, monitoring and improvement of technical competencies of business class staff and products to meet client needs and market drivers, all within direction and goals of business class plans
- Actively champion opportunities to grow the team. Drive the cando spirit among all parties.
- Actively engaged in professional or industry associations to enhance HDR technical expertise and brand
- Acts as a champion for staff and actively drive talent management, training investments, performance appraisals, compensation, development and recognition, industry and professional organization involvement.
- Participate in business class strategic planning, budgeting and plan implementation
