• Build and maintain client relationships, identifying and exploiting commercial opportunities.
• Lead work‑winning activities by preparing proposals, briefs, fee estimates, and managing bids.
• Direct projects as Project Director/Manager, monitoring financial performance and key performance indicators.
• Ensure technical output meets project briefs and quality standards.
• Manage and develop line staff, overseeing skills, training, and career progression.
• Support senior management, deputise for the office manager, and drive recruitment initiatives.
• Foster internal collaborations across AECOM business lines.

Requirements

The successful candidate will collaborate with AECOM teams across the UK and Ireland and may have opportunities for international work. This position is suited to a self‑motivated professional eager to advance their career within a supportive, collaborative environment.

Applicants should hold a relevant engineering degree, preferably chartered, and have a proven record of delivering traffic and sustainable infrastructure projects, winning bids, and leading high‑performing teams.
