You will work on sophisticated embedded platforms that power aerial imagery capture worldwide, developing real‑time solutions for both current and future system components. This position offers the chance to tackle complex mechatronic challenges where precision and reliability are paramount.
- Specify, develop, document, and qualify bare‑metal embedded system solutions for aerial capture platforms with deterministic performance.
- Research, develop, and qualify ultra‑high‑precision motor control solutions for aerial imagery systems.
- Integrate embedded software with sophisticated electronic hardware to ensure seamless operation in real‑world aerial environments.
- Create and run comprehensive testing strategies, both cross‑platform and on target hardware, to verify system reliability and performance.
- Design and implement linear and non‑linear feedback controllers for electro‑mechanical applications, blending theoretical modeling with practical execution.
- Collaborate closely with multi‑disciplinary Technology and Capture Systems teams to share knowledge and drive innovation.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong verbal, written, and visual skills, a positive self‑starter who thrives in collaborative, fast‑paced environments, and possesses high emotional intelligence to work effectively across multiple disciplines.
Essential qualifications include at least five years of embedded systems engineering experience focused on bare‑metal development, expertise in real‑time deterministic software, hardware‑software interfacing, and feedback controller design. Highly regarded candidates will have over ten years of experience, deep knowledge of ARM Cortex‑M7, and a background in ultra‑high‑precision mechatronic systems.
