Prepare design calculations for above and below ground Temporary Works schemes.
Carry out checking of design calculations by other members of the GTE TW team or external design organisations.
Assist with the governance processes to ensure that designs and design checks are completed on time and within fee estimates.
Assist with the production of drawings, schedules etc. based on the results of design calculations.
Assist in ensuring compliance with the Galliford Try Construction Business Management System so that the necessary standards of Safety, Quality & Environmental Management are achieved. Take a proactive approach to own Continuing Professional Development to maintain and advance own technical capability.
Where appropriate assist in the production of Temporary Works design briefs.
Initially, attend meetings and site visits with Design Engineer/Senior Design Engineer to discuss GTE Temporary Works services for specific tenders and projects
