Execute fiber prep, fusion splicing, and OTDR testing.
Document test results and as-built cabling paths.
Assist in on-site support and training of OMS Technician staff.

Familiarity with TIA standards and structured cable management.
FOA, BICSI Installer, or equivalent certs preferred.
Punch tool with 110 block and 66 block blade, tone set, 6/8 position combo crimp tool, and Krone/3M/BIX.
Intermediate network troubleshooting.
Must have at least a high school diploma or GED equivalency.
Tools: screwdriver (regular and Phillips), drywall saw, torpedo level, tape measure, snips (with belt sheath), pliers (needle nose and channel locks), hammer, cable stripper, flashlight, and gloves.
1-3 years of field experience in fiber optics or structured cabling.
Proficiency in OTDR, VFL, power meters, and fusion splicing.
