IT Support Engineer - Manufacturing

Description

The Systems Engineer will provide technical support and maintenance for the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the stability, security, and availability of systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role supports end users, production systems, and IT services, contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

• Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guidelines to improve operational efficiency.
• Apply fundamental cybersecurity practices and escalate security-related incidents as necessary.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, peripherals, industrial label printers, and thermal printers.
• Support manufacturing systems and collaborate with production teams to ensure MES/ERP system availability (desirable).
• Provide end-user support for Windows 10/11, Office 365 applications, and standard corporate software.
• Monitor, triage, and resolve incidents through ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platforms.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including LAN/WAN, VPN, IP configuration, DHCP, and DNS.
• Manage user accounts, security groups, and access permissions through Active Directory.
• Assist in basic server administration, backups, and virtualization tasks when required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure minimal downtime and support production continuity.

Requirements

• Analytical Thinking
• 1–3 years of experience in technical support or IT analyst roles, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Adaptability and Fast Learning
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Advanced English proficiency
• Experience with manufacturing systems (MES/ERP) is highly desirable.
