Coordinate plans and specifications with design engineers, resolving discrepancies
Supervise project partners, craft foremen, and crews; interview, hire, transfer, and terminate craft team members as needed
Review construction and contract documents for completeness and constructability
Provide high-level management of safety, quality, risk, and compliance for the project and team members
Develop and manage project schedules, including three and six-week look-ahead schedules
Ensure proper task coding of work hours on timecards, track work progress and craft productivity
Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
Handle craft team member training and conduct career development discussions
Recognize and mitigate unfavorable working conditions and identify opportunities to improve processes and procedures
Develop a site logistics plan and manage the utilization of Mortenson tools and equipment
Lead team members by example, offer effective coaching and feedback, and manage performance
Coach and mentor assistant superintendents, craft team members, and other project team members
Conduct on-site project orientations, pre-construction planning sessions, and project site meetings
Collaborate with project partner superintendents
Plan and implement to ensure all materials, equipment, and inspections support the project schedule
