Bridgestone Group are pleased to be working with an established engineering business in the Pinxton area who are seeking an experienced and motivated CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator with strong expertise in Siemens-controlled milling and turning machines.
The successful candidate will be confident programming directly at the machine and able to work from detailed engineering drawings to produce high-precision components across a variety of materials, including stainless steel, aluminium, nylon, phosphor bronze, mild steel and more.

- Work flexibly to meet production deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
- Proven experience operating Siemens-controlled CNC milling and/or turning machines
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Competent with precision measuring equipment (micrometres, verniers, height gauges, etc.)
- Willingness to work occasional out-of-hours to support breakdowns or fluctuating workloads
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and communicate clearly with managers
- Reliable, adaptable and highly attentive to detail
- Confident in on-machine programming using Siemens language
- Ability to independently set up jobs and adjust tool and work offsets
Benefits
£35,000- £45,000 per annum dependent on experience
