A typical day includes pre‑site preparation, equipment startup, repairs, preventive maintenance, and field modifications, as well as documenting service reports and expense entries. Representatives also work closely with managers, regional service directors, and technical support to resolve escalated issues, and they continuously train on new products both in the field and classroom.
The role requires an Associate’s degree, trade certification, military training, or comparable experience in electrical disciplines, plus the ability to read blueprints and understand AC/DC power systems. At least two years of field service experience with UPS, power distribution, or related equipment is required, together with strong safety practices, hazard identification, and familiarity with NFPA‑70E or OSHA standards.
This full‑time U.S. position offers a total compensation range of $66,000 to $99,000 per year, which includes base salary and a short‑term incentive. Salary is set based on role level, performance, skills, experience, and education.
