  • Maintain infrastructure documentation and environment diagrams, supporting organizational change management and operating procedures.
  • Strengthen core infrastructure principles, including DRAS, storage solutions, LAN/WAN configurations, and perimeter security (firewalls).
  • Design and implement disaster recovery plans encompassing both cloud and on-premises systems.
  • Provide timely and professional communication to VHB staff and internal teams.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency across infrastructure and endpoint management.
  • Develop strategies for hybrid cloud/on-premises environments to optimize performance and cost.
  • Collaborate with security team to ensure systems are secure and reliable.
  • Partner with the cloud team to deploy, configure, and manage cloud-based services and infrastructure as needed, ensuring integration with on-premises systems.
  • Provide architectural oversight and guidance for production VDI tools (Citrix) to ensure performance and workflow optimization.
  • Provide mentoring for junior staff and guidance for escalated tickets.
  • Lead design, scope, and execution of major IT infrastructure initiatives.
  • Manage physical and virtual servers, storage, and network components within IT-controlled facilities and datacenters.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for identity and infrastructure technologies.
  • Serve as the final escalation point for advanced infrastructure incidents.
  • Contribute to process improvements and help refine IT administrative workflows.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and the evolution of products and services from key vendors.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.

  • 5+ years of IT systems engineering experience
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) for integration purposes.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Windows Client, Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra and PowerShell
  • Participate in continuous knowledge sharing via strong collaboration and communication skills.

  • BS in Computer Science or related discipline
