  • Partner with Regional Presidents and Area General Managers to provide financial expertise and operational leadership to drive the strategic direction for the manufacturing sites
  • Research pricing, competitors' trends and other factors affecting performance
  • Provide operations management with strategic tools and interpreted reports to help drive business results.
  • Support ERP integration preparations in alignment with overall Infrastructure Products Group (IPG) systems strategy involving significant investment in a new ERP system
  • Participate in a range of group / divisional projects as required
  • Monitor financial performance to identify and drive cost reductions and cost control initiatives.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with business leaders and colleagues to ensure financial insights are integrated into business operations and decisions.
  • Delegate finance activities to team members, as appropriate
  • Provide business modelling and risk assessments
  • Analyze and interpret plant operation results, evaluating variances, and assessing the effect on plant operations.
  • Ensure the weekly forecasting process is complete and accurate, providing good visibility of likely outturn as well as actions required to hit targets.
  • Strategic Planning and Decision Support through providing financial analysis and insights to guide decision making and strategic planning including investment decisions (acquisitions and capex).
  • Evaluating business performance against financial targets and monitoring of internal and external KPIs (both leading and lagging).
  • Partner with the Accounting and FP&A functions to support completion of all relevant internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Working with business leaders to set and update financial targets including budgets and forecasts
  • Prepare and manage the annual budgeting process for the regions,
  • Lead, coach, develop and mentor a team of finance professionals.
  • Partner with operations leadership to support long-term capital allocation strategy and strategic financial decision making

  • Attention to detail around producing high quality products and meeting deadlines
  • 10+ years manufacturing finance and/or cost accounting experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to identify problems and this independently about alternative ways to solve problems based on analysis of data.
  • Travel – 25% to 50%
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Advanced Degrees, CMA, CPA a plus
  • Advanced MS Office
  • The ability to be tactical as well as see the bigger operational picture.
  • Experience with complex ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, SysPro, Sage)
  • Understanding profitability drivers and insights on revenue generation and cost saving opportunities.
  • Ability to act independently as a subject matter expert with limited supervision.
  • 2+ years leadership experience required
  • Understanding of the impact of external factors including markets, competitors and regulations on our business
