- Instructs plumbing staff in the techniques and procedures employed in the plumbing trade.
- Inspects work upon completion to determine that staff followed the necessary procedures and that work conforms to job documents and SPC job-specific drawings.
- Monitors work of crew members for adherence to plans, specifications, and SPC job-specific drawings.
- Pre-plans, assigns, and reviews the work of staff engaged in the installation, modification, and/or repair of plumbing systems.
- Acts as a working foreman to fit, cut, and install various piping systems (DWV, DHW, DCW, DHWR, and DI, Storm)
- Communicate with SPC job teams on various projects to ensure they achieve quality work in a timely manner. Communicates with SPC staff and provides feedback to staff regarding the status of the project.
- Lead work crews in the plumbing trade. Manages 2-6 employees. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work.
