Tax Analyst

• Review amended federal and state income tax returns and supporting workpapers
• Interpret and apply state/local tax regulations; provide recommendations
• Drive adoption of new tools, technology, and quality initiatives
• Conduct and lead internal calls, manage compliance activities
• Lead and manage VAT client engagements from planning to completion
• Mentor, train, and guide junior team members
• Participate in tax audits and prepare audit responses
• Analyze and recommend tax strategies for process improvements

Experience: 7–10 years

• Strong leadership, analytical, and project management skills
• Prior experience in global VAT compliance
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment
• Exposure to Power BI, Alteryx is an added advantage
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in VAT/Indirect Tax, State Compliance, or Amended Returns
• Working knowledge of Accounts Payable/Receivable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce or related field
• Experience with tax tools (CorpTax, OneSource, GoSystem)
• Strong understanding of local country indirect tax regulations
